Iphone App Review - Ancient War Strategy Guide to Success

An exciting new app for the Iphone with its cost now at 1.99$ is an application call Ancient War. As the god of your empire of different minions you must choose the right units at the right time to destroy the opposing players totem. There are two separate game-styles, single-player and multiplayer. For an easy tips on defeating both different Ancient War realms with my strategy guide read below!

You verse the computer. As each tribe gets stronger, they have different upgraded troops. At first you begin with only the first two troops, which in the later run are indeed worthless. To defeat Ancient War on single player I would suggest only upgrading 3 different units.

1. Wizards - Your main infantry troop that cost 120 meat to produce.
2. Hippogryphs - Your main Air troop. Cost 80 meat to produce.
3. Miracle - This is making your special fire ball move more powerful and last longer.

Every level can be defeated by using only these 3 units. When you begin a level don't send any units, wait until you see their first surge of units to the middle of the map and rain down your fire balls on them. If you kill them all wait on there next level of units. DON"T SEND ANY UNITS UNTIL THEY GET TO YOUR TOTEM. Once they get there mass your wizards. When upgraded wizards travel together they are invulnerable! Use your hippogryphs only to ward off other birds in the later levels as your wizards will be doing all the damage needed. Once your wizards reach the opposing teams totem, they will simply kill all the units that come out and slowly destroy their totem until you have won.
If levels get too difficult, go back to previous levels and farm them for money to upgrade your units.

First of all read the above description of dominating single-player.. You will use this same strategy to win multiplayer, except you will focus even MORE on wizards. Get a level 1 hippogryph and spend the rest on upgrading your wizard on your tactic editor. Use this same strategy and dont send troops until they get to your totem. UPDATE: So as I have been owning in multiplayer I came across this guy who started to beat me! So I became as you could imagine really interested in the fact and looked at his strategy ( which I now use).

• -Fully Upgraded Infantry
• -Level 3 Hippogryphs
• -Level 2 Miracle

The 2 miracles were really effective in killing my wizards, then the masses of Infantry were too much to handle. The birds are only used as defense against other birds. Give it a shot :)
