COD Points Farming - Call of Duty Black Ops COP Point Farming

In Call of Duty's latest release Black Ops, they have introduced a currency, COD Points. COD Points can and will be farmed by players in multiple farming methods. Which method works best for you? Well go ahead and read all of the suggested guides and feel free to add your own at the bottom.

COD Points are the main focus and goal for Call of Duty players online to enhance their gameplay and customize their classes. They are used from purchasing everything from killstreaks to new guns! In later articles I will discuss the further uses of COD Points and how to spend them. Now we will focus on farming them.

In the next few paragraphs I will discuss several new ways to farm COD Points. Please comment after you read everything on something I might have said that interest you or just something to add to the hundreds reading this article.

Earning COD points can be difficult but can also be very easy. In this simple farming method we ask that you just play the game! Naturally the more you play the game, the better you will become at the game. When it comes to earning COD Points, the better you are at the game, the more points you will earn. So I will STRONGLY suggest to beginners and other players looking to earn COD points, that you MUST become a better player to earn these points. Unlike earning credits in Halo Reach, (Halo Reach Credit Farming) Call of Duty REQUIRES you to have skill to accumulate their ever so coveted COD Points.

Basically for those looking to farm COD Points, especially in my later methods, you must learn to become good at the game. Otherwise you really can't help yourself with earning COD Points.

Now that we have established that you MUST be good to acquire COD Points lets get down to our first proven method.

There is an insane amount of potential in farming COD Points in Headquarters. Before you start this method you must first find..

• A Team of likeminded people who want to farm XP or COD Points.
• Your team must be talented at Call of Duty Black Ops.
• Everyone should have microphones unless they understand the process.

This is the number 1 way to farm COD Points considering you are one of the most elite players. I have written an entire article on Wager Matches over here - Call of Duty Black Ops Wager Matches.

So simply put, if you are confident in yourself as a Call of Duty Black Ops player, you simply just wager 10,000 COD Points in Wager Matches and hopefully get 20,000 COD Points or 8,000 COD Points back in return! Remember, this is for players who can win, don't waste your hard-earned points here if you don't think you can finish top 3 every time!

The game-types are silly and weird and some can be mastered. Practice in the smaller wager matches before you leap up to the big ones!

Now, I wouldn't exactly call it farming because you really aren't raking in THAT many pints with contracts but you can definitely make some extra points while farming elsewise.

Go look at the different contracts offered and find soem that you will have been naturally completing doing what your doing anyway! Like... 15 kills.... 25 kills with the weapon your currently using... just be smart about it!

And remember with contracts, you have a certain amount of time to use them and their up. So make sure you buy them before you start your farming session.

• Don't waste your COD Points - If you are in the mood to farm and save up COD points then don't have wasteful spending! Only invest Points into things you NEED to truly improve your performance!
• Blow off Challenges - They don't pay you COD Points! they only give you XP! Do contracts!
• Don't lose it on Wager Matches - Wager Matches are just like gambling! If you lose your going to want to play again.. and again... until your flat broke! Be careful in Wager Matches.
• Have Fun! - Obviously if you don't make the process fun your going to stop! Enjoy playing Call of Duty Black Ops! It's an awesome game!
