Farming credits on Sword Base is an absolutely awesome and productive way to achieve as many credits as possible. Halo Reach Credit Farming is now becoming a monster in its own with how many different ways people are coming across these days and the vast amounts of people who are willing to get as many credits as possible to spend at the armory.
Luckily I tell you that I have found the best way to farm credits and have filmed a short clip showing you STEP BY STEP how to farm as many credits as possible out of this campaign map.
I'm going to divide my Oni Sword Base clip up into different sections so that you can pause it and read my analysis as we go. Therefore, try to watch the screen and read what I have to say about it as we go.
First Things First
Alright now before you start up any game lets make sure your setting are where they need to be. Before you begin my Credit Farming tutorial make sure you have the following.
- The Campaign Map - Sword Base
- The Difficulty set on Heroic
- Somewhat decent skill at Halo
- A passion for Farming some Credits!
Ok, so I think we are ready to begin.

Are you wanting to make money to play video games? Here is a simple guide to learn how to make hundreds of dollars online playing video games like Halo Reach like I do.
Lets Farm some Credits
Ok, so now we are all prepared to farm some halo reach credits on Sword base are we not?
- STEP 1: Ok, so now that the game started you are going to need to head to the right and go up the stair case. Once at the top you will be encountered with an elite. You NEED to kill the elite to guarantee a safe travel to the farming spot. So go ahead and kill the elite. I really hope this won't be a problem for you... :)
- Step 2: Once past the elite you are going to want to head down to the farming zone. Now this should be the only difficult part of this entire tutorial.. You are going to want to head out straight from where you killed the elite and sprint past the grunts. Now don't activate your sprint until you absolutely need to in order to make sure you have enough once you are in danger. Ok, so sprint past the grunts taking as little damage as possible. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T KILL ANY ENEMIES!
- Step 3: Once you sprinted straight past the grunts head to the right downhill. Except the ensure your safe arrival, jump up on to the ledge on the right or you will most likely die. Jump up on to the ledge and sprint down to the bottom like I do in my video. Once at the bottom you need to jump over the barrier and into the building.
- Step 4: You should encounter a check point somewhere along the way and the further into the building you are when you get it the better. My check point spot in my video is not so ideal as it will slow me down as I farm for credits.
- Step 5: Run over to the ordinance and grab the Air Strike Weapon and aim it at all the little enemies who are coming over to kill you. BOOM! You should get a nice little killionaire with some bonuses.
- Step 6: Revert to last Saved and repeat the process of exterminating those little Oni Sword Base peasants. Continue until you have as many credits as you wish!
Conclusion
I hope this article has helped you guys farm the amount of credits you want! I have found that farming these credits on Sword Base has by far been my best method of accumulating credits.

so I did this exactly as stated....a few time....and now when I go back to try and do it, I get maybe 10 cR total for the actual farming...I started out getting like 300...why so little now? is there a way to fix?

After you level up a few commendations to Onyx or Gold, the system stops giving you credits for actions which give those commendations. While the commendations themselves still give you credits if they're not maxed, credits earned from performing the actions goes to zero. This happened to me after approximately 20,000 credits had been earned and two of the relevant commendations went Onyx. A drop in the pond, all things considered.
Does this work for offline also?
Based on Des Shinta's comment, I'm wondering if it will continue to give me enough credits so that I can get all Armor Effects.

Ive tried doing this, but even after I get the check point and kill the enemies, I have no option on my start menu "Revert to last save". My xbox hasn't been hooked up to live since before I started playing halo, could that be the problem? Also even when I do kill them once, I save and quit, but only get 54 cr. I'm only Warrant Officer grade 3, almost captian :/
What skulls do you have on? cuz the dude in your video is red and myne is always white (on heroic) and i cant just simple simple head shot him right at the get go.

yeah ive done it on accounts and got from recruit 2 warrant officer and after you get splash and walking tank to onyx you get like 10cr for the kills over all any one got any ways to get them back up?
67 runs in 9:08 for only 160 points hardly seems worth it... is this what everone else is getting?

well somehow my computer dosent let me use the video but i also earn only 54 credits and I got 10 000 for my score...is it a problem?
i did it for like 10 minuts and killed over 700 baddies and got 500 cr. is it cause im too high a level?? (3 warent officer.)

how come it isnt working, ive looked up other youtube videos saying to do the exact same thing, but for some reason, the credits arent coming up at all for my kills, does this have something to do with being offline or what?????

It works just fine, its not points you get for the kills that add up at all, as a matter of fact, you get nothing for them if you just save and quit after doing to repeat "resort to last save"...its the points for the commondations that count. I tried it for the first time as WO lv 3, I got 8120 points in just over 5 mins, getting me to captain one easily. I do have live, it was set on free for all score, Heroic, and I have 2 skulls on. The more the skulls the better I would guess, but it can be difficult to make it to the right checkpoint alive haha.

I was just wondering about this farming thing.
I got to the checkpoint with all the skulls on and heroic except for Iron, at first I got about 94 credits per killionaire. But now I get some ridiculous like 34 credits,
I even see my score go up as the airstrike is killing them.
Anyone got any ideas or any other easier ways to get credits?
id say that this isnt a good way of getting credits even though im almost at the rank of comander and want carters helmet badly and all the other cool armor types and helmets id say when i was working on getting the achievment where u nbeed to beat the game on legendary i was getting a total of 5400 on each level solo it might have taken me hours of dying and trying to find a way to kill the dang ELITES! but it is a good amount of credits i got full odst and some other armor varients i dont care for.
one time i did on legendary but then i died when i got side that room because a stupid elite got inside killed me and i didnt get a checkpoint
whenever i do the credit farm i only get like 51 with 12 skulls on and on legendary but i used to get like 10.000 credits please help me and tell me what im doin wrong

ok i know what the problem is for me...it saves only untill after my first shot with the gun...and than it's too late to revert to the last check pint...should i wait a little or something before shooting the gun or is it just me..

I no this tactic and have done it before. Now I get 8 cr for a killionare. Prob because of commendations are close to onyx. Any other way to add cr without this tactic. And no cr generator. Can't download anything

the video playing is on easy or normal maybe, i dont see ho wthe difficulty matters when your just going to for kills to earn the commendation

Yes you can
first you have to turn on scoring to either team or free for all, if you want to you can turn on skulls for extra points,and you can not get banned for this. its not cheating/hacking,its competely legit
