World of Warcraft Cataclysm 19 Twinking Basics

Do you want to know what World of Warcraft 4.0.1 Cataclysm 19 twinking will be like? Can you not decide what class you want to twink? In this post I will be explaining the basics, overall atmosphere and main strategies of the 19 twink battlegrounds.

Choosing 19 Twink Class

In the 19 twink WSG it is absolutely necessary to have a strong offense and defense. This may seem obvious but the WSG’s for 19 twinks tend to go a very long time without anyone scoring. Most likely both teams will have solid players, so there will rarely be a time that your team will dominate the game. Because of this if your team lacks either defense or offense, there is no way you will be able to win the game.

Before you read this you should know what each class does and how your class could be useful.

• Rogue - Offense Damage
• Warrior - Offense damage/slows
• Hunter - Offense damage/slows - Defense slows/stuns
• Warlock - Offense damage/fear - Defense fears
• Mage - Offense slows - Defense slows
• Shaman - Offense damage/shows
• Druid - Offense heals - Defense FC/heals
• Paladin - Offense damage/heals - Defense FC/heals
• Priest - Offense heals - Defense heals

It is good to understand your role in Cataclysm Twinking.

• So, before you go into a 19 twink WSG you need to understand the basic necessities for offense and defense.

Offense - Offense is often disorganized and this is something that you should stay away from if at all possible. Your team sticking together is something that you simply must have, if you are all running into their Defense one by one you will die one by one and never get anything accomplished. While attacking the Enemy Flag Carrier (EFC) you need to be aware of his teammates that are helping him. Often times people completely ignore everyone except the EFC while the enemy healers are healing much faster than you can do damage. So, when attacking the EFC you need to keep your eye on the enemy healers. You have a few options when dealing with enemy healers: 1. kill them - if you have the opportunity to kill them without allowing the EFC to run away, this is the best idea, but its not worth it if your going to let the EFC get away. 2. keep them silenced/stunned/slowed - most times this is the only option you have, and its a very good one. The point is, that when your on offense the most often made mistake is to completely ignore the healers and other enemies and focus on the EFC, and a lot of the time this allows the healers an easy chance to slow/fear/stun you and heal their flag carrier without anyone bothering them.

• While every class in the 19 twink battleground can be beneficial in different ways for Offense, you need to understand when to use the different stuns, slows and silences that your class has. This often will only come from experience playing your class, but remember that while your are attacking the EFC you need to slow/stun/silence him in any way possible.
• Also, don't forget to help out your teammates ! Remember, you are working as a team and if you let all of your teammate die, you will have no chance in killing the EFC, you need as many people as possible.

Defense - Defense is more difficult than offense and is something that not every class can help with. In the 19 twink battleground defense is led by one Flag Carrier (FC). The FC is preferably a druid/pally with a huge amount of health. They are still making changes to Cataclysm 19 twinks so it is not definite about which class will reign as the best Flag Carrier. With the FC you need 1 or 2 healers and a damage class if your Offense can afford to let you have one. While on defense you basically go in different routes around your base trying to keep the enemies Offense from killing you for as long as possible. On defense as well as Offense you need to make sure that you do not abandon your teammates. Many times as the FC or a healer the enemy team will get you sidetracked or separate you from your team, but this is their job and you need to do your best to not allow it to happen.
