Choosing a Class

Below I will be providing a general overview of each class and the important roles they have in the 19 twink bracket. So, if you don't know what each class is used for, or you can't decide which class you would like playing the most, this should provide the details to make your choice.

19 Twink Priest

Priest - Healing. Priests are one of the primary healers and is the only class that plays no major role other than healing. Priests heal using a number of different heals and heals over time to be the most successful class at keeping your teammates alive. The only downside to priest healing is that they are the only healer forced to wear all cloth which makes them a slightly more vulnerable target.

19 Twink Warlock

Warlock - Damage and Crowd Control. Warlocks have always been very useful and have become even more useful and powerful with the recent Cataclysm updates. Warlocks are used for very constant and powerful damage because of the vast number of damage over time spells the warlock has. Because warlocks use mainly damage over time spells  they are able to spend a lot of time fearing as many enemies as possible.

19 Twink Mage

Mage - Mainly Crowd Control and some Damage. Mages are very powerful but seem to be downplayed far too much in the twink community. While mages do not have anywhere near the most damage, they make u for it with the largest number of slows, stuns and silences. Mages are used primarily for crowd control of the opposing team and are a very useful asset to any successful team.

19 Twink Rogue

Rogue - Damage. Rogues do a vast amount of damage but have the least amount slows/stuns/silences which makes it a very strange class to play. Rogues have always been among the most popular classes to twink because of the huge amounts of damage they are able to do. With Cataclysm Rogues received a buff that has made the far too powerful, so much so that the twink community is expecting and demanding a nerf. So after the dust settles I am sure that Rogues will be, as they always have been, one of the best damage classes in the 19 twink bracket, while still lacking any useful forms of crowd control.

19 Twink Druid

Druid - Flag Carrying and Healing. Druids are a very useful class with the ability to be very useful healers and flag carriers. As a healer the druid has a very easy way to escape enemies while also having the ability to cast very powerful heals. Druids have been the best flag carrying class for a long time and with Cataclysm’s release in the 19 twink bracket they are still going to be one of the best. They are very successful at flag carrying because they have the ability to shift in and out of travel form which allows them to cast instant heals and remove slows.

19 Twink Hunter

Hunter - Damage and Crowd Control. Hunters are the only class that can rival the amount of pure damage a rogue can do. The advantage that the hunters have is the ability to kite their enemies with a various number of slows and stuns. The only downside to this ability and strength is that if an enemy can stay close to you, you really don't have a chance. However, if you are skilled and experienced at your class you should be able to escape most situations.

19 Twink Shaman

Shaman - Damage and Healing. Shaman’s a somewhat complicated class but are very effective as they can provide many different roles. Shaman’s are very successful at dealing damage, not because they hit large numbers, but they do a very constant damage and are able t keep themselves alive while doing so. Shaman’s are also semi-successful healers, especially when your Flag Carrier is a druid. They have the ability to go as fast as the druid which allows the druid easier ways to escape the enemies.

19 Twink Warrior

Warrior - Damage and Slows. Warriors are also a very reliable damage class because while dealing a significant amount of damage and having a large amount of armor and health, they have a hamstring ability which drastically slows the target. While warriors are not often used as flag carriers, they can be used in situations where you have no other flag carrying class.

19 Twink Paladin

Paladin - Damage, Healing and Flag Carrying. Paladin’s have turned into the all around class as the changes with Cataclysm have made them into very good flag carriers. Aside from their new abilities as a very solid flag carrier, they have the options to both heal and deal damage. Their healing abilities are not nearly as constant as some other classes, but in many situations they will get the job done. Like shaman’s they are a very viable damage class because they are able to deal a consistent amount of damage while keeping themselves alive for a long time.
